Keep your dog gear tidy and grab-and-go ready with this simple 3-step guide. Learn where to hang, how to load, and the one mistake to avoid.
Quick steps
Hang the cardboard hangers on a sturdy hook or rail, slide the harness loops over the wide tab, and store the pack near your door. This keeps five sets of gear tidy and ready to grab.
Why cardboard works for pet gear
The Cocopoo Harness Hanger 3 Pack is made from sturdy cardboard, not plastic or metal. That means it's lightweight, won't scratch painted walls or door frames, and is easy to recycle when the hooks wear out. The trade-off is that it won't support heavy leashes or metal clips—stick to harnesses, collars, and light leads for the best lifespan.
How to set up your harness hangers
- 1. Choose your spot: Pick a dry, accessible spot near your main exit—mudroom, hallway, or inside a cupboard. Avoid damp areas like a laundry room, as cardboard can soften over time. A dry location doubles the lifespan of the cardboard.
- 2. Hang the hook: Slide the wide cut-out at the top of each hanger over a sturdy hook, peg, or rail. Make sure the hook is wide enough to hold the cardboard flat—a standard coat hook works best. If the hanger twists, the hook is too small. Test the stability before loading any gear.
- 3. Load one harness per hook: Slide the harness's D‑ring or chest clip over the wide tab at the bottom of the hanger. Let the harness hang freely. Avoid piling two harnesses on one hook—the cardboard may bend under double weight. One harness per hanger keeps the cardboard flat and the gear tangle-free.
